"Best vacation rental ever" Thank you so much for sharing this marvelous home with my family. We were in town for a wedding when I booked this place but got so much more. Four nights of quiet and secluded peace. The sounds we heard here were just sounds of nature! It made me sad to leave. This would be a PERFECT wedding venue. You never even hear the sound of traffic. Loved my stay here and I hope to return to stay again and to stay longer!

"Thanksgiving weekend with family!" We stayed @ the Wyndham Kingsgate resort in Williamsburg Va. Food, fun and family is all I can say! The accommodations were great. My grandchildren loved the indoor pool and video gaming arcade. The least attractive of the stay was having to climb three flights of stairs with luggage and groceries. That was a surprise! However the staff was just a phone call away. They were available to help with a smile! We had a great time!

"Ms." My experience at Wyndham Patriots Place has been extremely, extremely positive. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Every need or request is attended to immediately. Starting from the minute we arrived at Reception, the staff new our name -- a very nice personal touch. We rented both the deluxe A and B units. This is a great deal of space and puts suite hotels to shame. We had 4 flat screen TV's, 2 living rooms (which can double as sleeping quarters using the sleeper sofa), a full dining room, a kitchen that was well equipped, a kitchenette, a balcony and 2 bathrooms, which together contained a tub and shower, a deep soak tub with shower and shower stall -- three people can shower at the same time. Excellent living space! Wyndham Patriots Place is also conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg and roadways to Yorktown, Jamestown, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. It is my first experience at a Wyndham Resort and I will definitely look into them on any trip in the future.

"Great accommodations in Williamsburg, VA" Great place. Excellent accommodations. Even little details like controls for water flow in tubs is separate from temperature. Beds are very comfortable. Manager checked to ensure all was OK.

"Pleasant" Kingsgate is an original Fairfield resort, not Wyndham. That means some of the luxuries you may be use to at a Wyndham are missing. However, do not let this fool you. For Williamsburg, this is an excellent place to stay. It is central to almost everything...Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg about 1 mile away, shopping is 5 minutes. The location cannot be beat. There is entertainment on property, indoor pool, outdoor pool, putt putt, tennis, playground, restaurant, and pool bar. If you are expecting extreme luxury, this is not it. It is not a Bonnet Creek. You have to go to Governor's Green for that and it is not even up to that level. This is our second stay at this resort and it is worth everything we pay to stay for 6 nights (less than $100 per night for the week). We will stay here again when we return for another visit.

About Williamsburg

The capital of the state of Virginia from 1699 to 1780, Williamsburg played an important role in early American politics and the Revolutionary War. College of William and Mary: Stroll through the beautiful and historic campus of this top-rated public school, one of the very first universities in the country. Both James Monroe and Thomas Jefferson are alumni.
Water Country USA: If you need a break from the past, spend a day splashing around in the myriad pools at this wonderful water park.
Busch Gardens: This theme park outside Williamsburg is designed to take you on a tour of numerous European countries. Amusement park rides have names like Loch Ness Monster and Le Scott.
Presidents Park: At this unusual public park, sculptor David Adickes created the giant white busts of every American president from the times of George Washington to the present day.
Berkeley Plantation: Located on the banks of the James River, this plantation is one of the oldest in Virginia and the site of the first Thanksgiving dinner in the United States.

Williamsburg is a great place to visit with kids, and a spacious vacation rental can make it easier to bring along the whole family.
